We booked all 4 rooms at the Calis for a weekend visit to Brugge with 4 couples. The Calis exceeded all our expectations: beautiful and very special rooms, nice breakfast served - at our request - in the restaurant, and above all the genuine hospitality "with a smile" from Laurence and Daniel. Our vote: if you want a special place to stay in Brugge: choose the Calis.

The room was quiet and huge in both facilities. the staff were exceptionally nice, including the host. - the hotel's location was great, being relatively near a popular central plaza. - Situated in a particularly good area just off the centre of Bruges and within easy reach of the train station and the highlights of the city.

The Hosts were quality. The Room and Breakfast were also brilliant. We were very well looked after and would definitely come back.

Laurence and Daniel were wonderful hosts. They made our weekend special by having a surprise dinner and lovely birthday cake for my boyfriend. The room was the Marine room and located on the 1st floor. Nautical themed and was very spacious, with its own table for breakfast to be served to you. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone as I've stayed in quite a few B&Bs and this ranks very high for my standards. The hosts went out of their way to be accomodating and that in itself makes for a lovely trip. The restaurant had fair prices and the food was fantastic! Will definitely book again.

The only odd thing was the toilet was slighlty tilted and the plumbing ran awhile unless you giggled the handle. Very slight issue in my mind, so why I rated it good vs excellent.

Fresh food, impeccable service, and a glorious view over St Salvator's Cathedral. Lots of breakfast options like toast, pastries, eggs, and bacon. - Great and stunning location near a bustling plaza. - Conveniently located next to Bruges, the train station, and the town center.

Location was excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was fantastic.

Only something small but shower over bath wasn't great..

Appreciated savoury and great breakfasts.

We had a brilliant stay that met the purpose, would like to stay longer. The place was excellent and incredibly beautiful and the staff were knowledgeable, the location was magnificent in the centre. Location: the hotel was just next door to a center of Brugge, all the shops and restaurants and the St Salvatore church.

Wonderfully accommodating and friendly owners. Lovely, unique bedrooms each with quirky interesting features. Delicious breakfasts. Great location. Thoroughly recommended.

Loved this old-fashioned hotel and would definitely stay here again. the room was lovely looking, reasonably large, and had a great view of the cathedral outside. - the room had a fireplace, central heating, and tea/coffee making equipment.

Laurence (host) is very friendly and welcoming.
